UW Courses in Geospatial Information Science
UW-Madison offers courses in GIS, Remote Sensing, Surveying, Photogrammetry, GPS, and Cartography. The majority of these courses are taught in the Civil and Environmental Engineering and Geography departments, and in the Institute for Environmental Studies. A smaller number of related courses are offered in other departments such as Forestry, Landscape Architecture, Atmospheric and Oceanic Science, Urban & Regional Planning, and Statistics.
