Jaime Stoltenberg, Map & GIS Librarian with the Department of Geography's Robinson Map Library, was recently honored with a College of Letters and Science Early Career Award for academic staff.

The L&S Academic Staff Excellence Awards Program rewards staff in three stages of development: early-career, mid-career, and the Judith S. Craig Distinguished Service Award given to a single staff member with 15 or more years as a member of L&S academic staff.  Two awards are made in the early career category, which honors people who have 3-8 years as members of the L&S academic staff. Recipients must demonstrate outstanding performance in their positions, must demonstrate substantial promise of future contributions, and exhibit a high degree of professionalism.

An awards reception for all L&S faculty, academic staff, and classified staff  award recipients will be held on April 29th in the Fluno Center on the UW campus.

Congratulations Jaime!
