Register now for the 2013 UW-Madison Geospatial Summit! Approximately 85 people attended last year. This year our keynote speaker will be Prof. David Tulloch, a UW-Madison alumnus and professor of Landscape Architecture at Rutgers University. Prof. Tulloch will be speaking on the role of VGI (Volunteered Geographic Information), PPGIS (Public Participation GIS), and public data in changing GIS. The Summit will also include a series of research presentations, several discussion sessions, and an informal social gathering. Attendance at the Summit is open to all, and there is no registration fee. This year the event will be held at Union South, 1308 W. Dayton St., Madison. Please consider submitting an abstract for either a regular or lightning talk. This is a great way to share your ideas and research with the university community. Anyone interested in attending is asked to register so that we can update you with the latest information as it becomes available. The Summit is organized by the UW-Madison Geospatial Alliance.
